THE DOCTOR'S IN. ARE YOU OUT?
A Center survey in 2000 revealed that 35% of lesbian and bisexual women are not out to their doctors. Coming out to your doctor can help you receive better health care.

More Reasons to Come Out to Your Doctor
Lesbian and bisexual women are at increased risk for various gynecological cancers.
Also, research has shown that they have a higher risk of breast cancer than their heterosexual counterparts.
Women who have sex with women are at risk for Bacterial Vaginosis and the Human Papilloma Virus (genital warts), two STDs that have been shown to be commonly passed between
women.
Join us on September 25 to find out more.
Join us for a fun, free interactive program for lesbians and bisexual women only to learn ways to come out to their doctors. Meet others and get the latest information on women's health. Facilitated by Martha Webb, Ph.D.
Thursday, September 25, 7-9 pm
at the Center (6600 Detroit Avenue)
Please RSVP by calling 216.651.LGBT and reference code #WO903.
